In Order to Collect Running Number (BIB) collect it from the BIB Expo – 2/606 Vikas Nagar Sector 2 Lucknow Ground Floor, Lucknow – 226022 (Thursday, 17th October 2024), Participants will need to choose their BIB Collection Time Slots. Slots will be Assigned on a First-Come, First-Served Basis.

All Finishers of the fun run Race Category will get the Finisher Medal Post their Run on Race Day (Please Collect your Medal before Leaving the Venue (from the medal distributor counter; Medals will not be posted to Individual Runners if they fail to Collect on the Race Day.). While Provisional Results will be available by 5pm on Race Day, Timing Certificates of fun run finishers will be Available for Download from www.lucknowhealthrun.com  within 21 Working Days from Race Day.

BIB Collection

Expo dates and Timings:

Expo Venue address: Phoenix Plassio, Lucknow 

Running number bibs must be collected by all participants from the BibExpo 2024 from 23th and 24th April 2024. For this edition, participants will be given options to choose their bib pick-up time slot; overseas and outstation participants will get a slot preference for Saturday 27th April 2024. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Documents to carry at the Bib Expo 2024 for bib collection:   

  • It is mandatory for all individual participants to collect their running numbers personally from the Bib Collection Centre within the Bib Expo 2024. Confirmed participants must carry along the following documents (soft copy accepted) in order to collect his/her running bib: 
    (i) The application confirmation (sent via email or whatsapp or can be accessed from your profile). 
    (ii) Govt. approved photo ID proof.
  • In case of unavoidable circumstances, a participant can send his/her representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect running number bib on behalf of more than ONE participant.  The representative must carry along following documents for running bib collection: 
    (i) The application confirmation (sent via email or whatsapp or can be accessed from your profile). 
    (ii) Govt. approved photo ID proof of the runner. 
    (iii) Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.

(iv) Hand written and signed letter from the participants.

  • Group collection of bibs: A group can send their representative/s to collect the running number of bibs on behalf of their team members. But they have to call us prior to coming to the expo. And take the slot.

 

Important: No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses for whatsoever reasons. Further, no number bibs will be handed over to any participant post the declared closing hours of the BIB Expo 2024 – by 5 p.m. on given date. 

 

 

Water Stations

Here's how we're implementing optimal water solutions to ensure a successful race for runners while minimizing our environmental impact:

Water Stations:

  • There will be a total of 1 water station along the Start and at the finish line.
  • Station will provide 250ml water bottles for runners to grab and go.
  • We recommend you bring your own bottles. There will be 4, 20-liter water jars.
  • You can also refill empty bottles you pick up at the water stations.
  • 500ml Water Bottle Distribution:
  • For additional hydration options, 500ml water bottles will be available at key locations:

Ground: Start your race well-hydrated by grabbing a bottle at the entry point.
Entry Point – Gate Number 1 Janeshwar Mishra Park
There's also a dedicated water refilling station located within the route.

Avoid Littering:

  • Please do not discard water bottles on the road. This can create a tripping hazard for other runners.
  • Use the conveniently placed bins on the left side of the road for a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Physical Fitness:

Before registering for the marathon, it is important to assess your physical fitness level and consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have any underlying medical conditions or concerns.


Training:

Proper training is essential for marathon preparation. Gradually increase your mileage and intensity over time, and listen to your body to prevent overtraining and injuries.


Hydration and Nutrition:

Stay properly hydrated before, during, and after the marathon. Drink water regularly and replenish electrolytes as needed. Maintain a balanced diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats to fuel your body for the long distance.


Rest and Recovery:

Adequate rest and recovery are crucial for marathon training. Make sure to get enough sleep each night and incorporate rest days into your training schedule to allow your body to recover and prevent burnout.


Injury Prevention:

Parking Information

  • Limited parking space is available for cars and motorbikes for 10K participants on race day. 
  • Parking stickers will be issued at the BIB EXPO, on a first come first served basis.  
  • To avail of a parking sticker, you will need to show your running number and give the following details to our volunteers at the expo – 
  1. Your contact number
  2. Registration number of the vehicle you will be using on race day 
  3. The name and number of the driver where the car is not self-driven.

 

  • Parking for participants will be available from Gate No.1 to Gate No. 7. We recommend arriving early to secure parking and allow ample time for check-in and warm-up activities.
  • Please follow the signage and directions provided by event staff to access designated parking areas. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with parking and provide any necessary guidance.
  • For those utilizing public transportation, [insert information about nearby public transportation options, such as bus routes or train stations].
  • Additionally, please be mindful of road closures and traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the marathon route. Plan your travel route accordingly to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival at the event venue.
  • We encourage carpooling whenever possible to reduce congestion and minimize environmental impact. Share rides with fellow participants or utilize ride-sharing services to make the most of available parking space.

The registration fee paid is exclusively for your race category participation in the Lucknow Health Run 10K, 2024. The registration fee is not, in part or full, payable for any offers/promotions/ discounts/goodies/ tee, etc. These, if offered, will be by event sponsors/partners/ brands through the Event Promoter separately.

2. Fill All Correct Details ( Complete the Online Registration form with Accurate and Up-to-Date Information. Be Sure to Provide all Required Details, including your NAME, CONTACT Information, Emergency CONTACT and ext.  ).
3. Select the Desired Run Category (e.g., FUN RUN, ..., 10K, etc.) and click on the "SUBMIT" button.
4.. Review the Terms and Conditions  of participation carefully before proceeding with your registration. By submitting your application, you agree to abide by all event rules and regulations.
5. click on the "SUBMIT" button.


=> Choose your Preferred Payment Method and Follow the Instructions to Complete the Registration Process. Payment Options may Include Credit/Debit card, or other Secure Online Payment Gateways.
=> Once your Registration is Confirmed, you will receive a Confirmation Email with Important Event Details, including your Participant BIB Number, Race Day Schedule, and any Additional Information you may need to know.

Medical Clearance: Your health and well-being are our top priority. All participants are required to provide medical clearance from a licensed healthcare professional confirming that you are physically fit to participate in the marathon. This clearance should be obtained within [specified timeframe] before the event and submitted to our medical team as per the provided instructions.

 

Hydration and Nutrition: Proper hydration and nutrition are essential for optimal performance during the marathon. We strongly encourage you to hydrate adequately in the days leading up to the event and during the race itself. Additionally, fuel your body with nutritious meals and snacks rich in carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats to sustain your energy levels throughout the race.

 

Preparation and Training: Participating in a marathon requires adequate preparation and training to minimize the risk of injury and ensure a successful outcome. Group Application

Group Registration:

  •  Participants registering in a group must submit their applications collectively, providing individual details for each member of the group.
  • The group captain or leader is responsible for coordinating the registration process, ensuring that all required information is provided accurately and completely.

Uniformity in Race Category:

  • All participants registering in a group must select the same race category (e.g., 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon).
  • Group members may not register for different race categories within the same group application.

Payment Process:

  • The total registration fee for the group must be paid at once, either through online payment or offline payment methods, as specified by the organizers.
  • Payment should be made in accordance with the registration deadlines and instructions provided by the organizers.

Group Size Limit:

  • There may be a limit on the maximum number of participants allowed per group, as determined by the organizers.
  • Group applications exceeding the specified limit may not be accepted, and additional groups may need to be formed.

Participant Communication:

  • The group captain or leader serves as the primary point of contact between the organizers and group members.
  • Important updates, announcements, and instructions from the organizers will be communicated to the group captain or leader, who is responsible for relaying this information to all group members in a timely manner.

Race Day Coordination:

  • On race day, group members should plan to arrive together at the designated meeting point and check-in area.
  • Participants should wear any coordinated uniforms or attire as agreed upon by the group, enhancing the sense of unity and team spirit during the event.

Race Etiquette and Conduct:

  • Group members must adhere to all race rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the organizers and race officials.
  • Respect fellow participants, volunteers, and spectators, and maintain proper etiquette throughout the event.

Emergency Procedures:

  • In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, group members should follow the instructions of race officials and emergency personnel.
  • Ensure that all group members are aware of the location of medical aid stations, emergency exits, and first aid resources along the race route.

Compliance with Rules:

  • Failure to comply with the rules and regulations outlined by the organizers may result in disqualification or removal from the event for the entire group.
  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the integrity and spirit of the marathon.

Entry Rules and Regulations

General Entry Rules

  1. Age Requirement:
    • Participants must be between 3-10 years old on the day of the event.
  2. Registration:
    • All participants must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.

    • A signed waiver and release of liability form must be included with the registration.
  3. Supervision:
    • Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the event.
    • Parents or guardians are allowed to run alongside their child to ensure safety.
  4. Identification:
    • Participants will be given an identification bib number that must be worn on the front of their clothing during the run.
  5. Health and Safety:
    • Parents or guardians must ensure that their child is in good health and physically capable of participating in the run.
    • Any medical conditions or allergies must be disclosed during registration.

Race Day Regulations

  1. Arrival Time:
    • Participants and their guardians should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time to allow for check-in and warm-up.
  2. Clothing and Footwear:
    • Participants should wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear appropriate for running.
    • It is recommended that children wear sunscreen and hats if the run is held outdoors.
  3. Course Rules:
    • The course will be clearly marked, and participants must stay within the designated course boundaries.
    • Parents or guardians must accompany their children throughout the entire course.
  4. Conduct:
    • Participants and their guardians are expected to behave respectfully towards other runners, volunteers, and event staff.
    • Any form of pushing, shoving, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification.
  5. Medical Assistance:
    • Medical personnel will be available on-site for any emergencies. Parents or guardians should notify a volunteer or staff member immediately if their child requires assistance.

Post-Race Regulations

  1. Finisher Medals:
    • All participants will receive a finisher medal upon completing the run.
  2. Lost and Found:
    • Any lost items should be reported to the information desk. Found items will be held at the lost and found area.
  3. Photography:
    • Photos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. Parents or guardians who do not want their child’s photo used must indicate this during registration.

Safety Measures

  1. Emergency Procedures:
    • In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of event staff and volunteers.
    • There will be a designated meeting point for lost children and their parents or guardians.
  2. Weather Policy:
    • The event will take place rain or shine. However, in the case of severe weather conditions, the event may be postponed or canceled for safety reasons. Participants will be notified via email or social media.

Prize Money Rules

1. Race results announced on race day will be ‘provisional’. Final results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein and the Race Regulations.

2. Only those Fun Run runners, who come first to the endpoint and who fall within the finish positions as indicated in the Prize Money Structure, will be entitled to prize money in their respective age groups and gender.

3. Finish positions of the fun run age categories (age as on 27.04.2024), 3-10years, for prize money entitlement shall be based on finish times & who crosses the finish line first.

4. To be entitled to timing and rankings, and not forego the same, runners must cross the finish line from the declared official start time.

5. In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and Prize Money winnings are also subject to –

  • Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats, and 
  • Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.

6. Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable).

7. Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the Promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the Event Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from competition.

8. Timing results: Where the timing result of a Fun Run runner with respect to his/her gender and/or age, is required to be updated online. Requests received after ( ) will not be entertained.

The registration fee paid is exclusively for your race category participation in the Lucknow Health Run 10K, 2024. The registration fee is not, in part or full, payable for any offers/promotions/ discounts/goodies/ tee, etc. These, if offered, will be by event sponsors/partners/ brands through the Event Promoter separately.

1. Visit our Official Registration Form.
2. Fill All Correct Details ( Complete the Online Registration form with Accurate and Up-to-Date Information. Be Sure to Provide all Required Details, including your NAME, CONTACT Information, Emergency CONTACT and ext.  ).
3. Select the Desired Run Category (e.g., FUN RUN, ..., 10K, etc.) and click on the "SUBMIT" button.
4.. Review the Terms and Conditions  of participation carefully before proceeding with your registration. By submitting your application, you agree to abide by all event rules and regulations.
5. click on the "SUBMIT" button.


=> Choose your Preferred Payment Method and Follow the Instructions to Complete the Registration Process. Payment Options may Include Credit/Debit card, or other Secure Online Payment Gateways.
=> Once your Registration is Confirmed, you will receive a Confirmation Email with Important Event Details, including your Participant BIB Number, Race Day Schedule, and any Additional Information you may need to know.

Before you lace up your running shoes, please review the health-related confirmation criteria below to ensure a safe and enjoyable marathon experience:

Medical Clearance: Your health and well-being are our top priority. All participants are required to provide medical clearance from a licensed healthcare professional confirming that you are physically fit to participate in the marathon. This clearance should be obtained within [specified timeframe] before the event and submitted to our medical team as per the provided instructions.

 

Hydration and Nutrition: Proper hydration and nutrition are essential for optimal performance during the marathon. We strongly encourage you to hydrate adequately in the days leading up to the event and during the race itself. Additionally, fuel your body with nutritious meals and snacks rich in carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats to sustain your energy levels throughout the race.

 

Preparation and Training: Participating in a marathon requires adequate preparation and training to minimize the risk of injury and ensure a successful outcome. Prior to the event, engage in a structured training program tailored to your fitness level and running goals. Incorporate a combination of long runs, speed work, and cross-training activities to build endurance and strength.

 

Rest and Recovery: Rest and recovery are integral components of any training regimen. Listen to your body and prioritize adequate rest between training sessions to allow for muscle repair and recovery. Avoid overtraining and excessive physical exertion in the days leading up to the marathon to prevent fatigue and potential injury on race day.

 

Health Monitoring: Pay close attention to your body's signals and monitor your health

Group Application

Group Registration:

  •  Participants registering in a group must submit their applications collectively, providing individual details for each member of the group.
  • The group captain or leader is responsible for coordinating the registration process, ensuring that all required information is provided accurately and completely.

Uniformity in Race Category:

  • All participants registering in a group must select the same race category (e.g., 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon).
  • Group members may not register for different race categories within the same group application.

Payment Process:

  • The total registration fee for the group must be paid at once, either through online payment or offline payment methods, as specified by the organizers.
  • Payment should be made in accordance with the registration deadlines and instructions provided by the organizers.

Group Size Limit:

  • There may be a limit on the maximum number of participants allowed per group, as determined by the organizers.
  • Group applications exceeding the specified limit may not be accepted, and additional groups may need to be formed.

Participant Communication:

  • The group captain or leader serves as the primary point of contact between the organizers and group members.
  • Important updates, announcements, and instructions from the organizers will be communicated to the group captain or leader, who is responsible for relaying this information to all group members in a timely manner.

Race Day Coordination:

  • On race day, group members should plan to arrive together at the designated meeting point and check-in area.
  • Participants should wear any coordinated uniforms or attire as agreed upon by the group, enhancing the sense of unity and team spirit during the event.

Race Etiquette and Conduct:

  • Group members must adhere to all race rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the organizers and race officials.
  • Respect fellow participants, volunteers, and spectators, and maintain proper etiquette throughout the event.

Emergency Procedures:

  • In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, group members should follow the instructions of race officials and emergency personnel.
  • Ensure that all group members are aware of the location of medical aid stations, emergency exits, and first aid resources along the race route.

Compliance with Rules:

  • Failure to comply with the rules and regulations outlined by the organizers may result in disqualification or removal from the event for the entire group.
  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the integrity and spirit of the marathon.

Entry Rules and Regulations

General Entry Rules

  1. Age Requirement:
    • Participants must be between 3-10 years old on the day of the event.
  2. Registration:
    • All participants must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
    • Registration forms must be completed and submitted by the specified deadline.
    • A signed waiver and release of liability form must be included with the registration.
  3. Supervision:
    • Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the event.
    • Parents or guardians are allowed to run alongside their child to ensure safety.
  4. Identification:
    • Participants will be given an identification bib number that must be worn on the front of their clothing during the run.
  5. Health and Safety:
    • Parents or guardians must ensure that their child is in good health and physically capable of participating in the run.
    • Any medical conditions or allergies must be disclosed during registration.

Race Day Regulations

  1. Arrival Time:
    • Participants and their guardians should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time to allow for check-in and warm-up.
  2. Clothing and Footwear:
    • Participants should wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear appropriate for running.
    • It is recommended that children wear sunscreen and hats if the run is held outdoors.
  3. Course Rules:
    • The course will be clearly marked, and participants must stay within the designated course boundaries.
    • Parents or guardians must accompany their children throughout the entire course.
  4. Conduct:
    • Participants and their guardians are expected to behave respectfully towards other runners, volunteers, and event staff.
    • Any form of pushing, shoving, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification.
  5. Medical Assistance:
    • Medical personnel will be available on-site for any emergencies. Parents or guardians should notify a volunteer or staff member immediately if their child requires assistance.

Post-Race Regulations

  1. Finisher Medals:
    • All participants will receive a finisher medal upon completing the run.
  2. Lost and Found:
    • Any lost items should be reported to the information desk. Found items will be held at the lost and found area.
  3. Photography:
    • Photos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. Parents or guardians who do not want their child’s photo used must indicate this during registration.

Safety Measures

  1. Emergency Procedures:
    • In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of event staff and volunteers.
    • There will be a designated meeting point for lost children and their parents or guardians.
  2. Weather Policy:
    • The event will take place rain or shine. However, in the case of severe weather conditions, the event may be postponed or canceled for safety reasons. Participants will be notified via email or social media.

By adhering to these rules and regulations, we aim to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all participants and their families.

Prize Money Rules

1. Race results announced on race day will be ‘provisional’. Final results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein and the Race Regulations.

2. Only those Fun Run runners, who come first to the endpoint and who fall within the finish positions as indicated in the Prize Money Structure, will be entitled to prize money in their respective age groups and gender.

3. Finish positions of the fun run age categories (age as on 27.04.2024), 3-10years, for prize money entitlement shall be based on finish times & who crosses the finish line first.

4. To be entitled to timing and rankings, and not forego the same, runners must cross the finish line from the declared official start time.

5. In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and Prize Money winnings are also subject to –

  • Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats, and 
  • Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.

6. Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable).

7. Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the Promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the Event Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from competition.

8. Timing results: Where the timing result of a Fun Run runner with respect to his/her gender and/or age, is required to be updated online. Requests received after ( ) will not be entertained.
